This is a complete zeppelin style of windscreen system, which
provides protection against wind noise in winds in excess
of 40 mph, whilst at the same time giving clear sound to the
microphone.
Superscreen with pistol-grip Supermount (below)
The Superscreen is incredibility robust under the
most testing conditions. It uses a 4-point bayonet locking
system to hold the front & rear sections together. The
tubes and end caps are all thermo-welded together, and hence
no rings or spines are required as in conventional zeppelin
windscreen designs.
